- 12 Remarkable Weeks: A fast-tracked, intensive program designed to catapult you into your new career.
- Flexible Scheduling: Classes convene Wednesday and Thursdays from 12-4 PM.
- Hands-on Experience: Dive deep into real-world dental assisting practices with engaging laboratory and operatory exercises.
Blended Learning Experience
Harness the power of online and offline worlds:
- Online Convenience: Engage with 25 hours of captivating online content, accessible anytime, ensuring flexibility and convenience.
- In-Person Mastery: Revel in 80 immersive in-person hours, fostering a space for practical mastery and enriched learning experiences.
Admission Criteria
Our doors are open to passionate individuals ready to soar. Here are the only requirements:
- Age: students should be over 18 years of age.
- Educational Qualifications: a high school diploma or its equivalent.

Dental Assisting
Course Outline
• WEEK 01 •
General introduction to the exciting field of Dentistry, including your orientation to our clinic and dental terminology.
• WEEK 02 •
Four-handed dentistry, instrumental transfer, isolation techniques, suctioning (HVE), local anesthesia, patient positioning, handpiece maintenance, sealants and coronal polishing.
• WEEK 03 •
Radiology theory and practice of intraoral and extraoral X-ray techniques, X-ray safety, darkroom procedures.
• WEEK 04 •
Amalgam and composite materials, instruments, mixing, curing, tubs, trays.
• WEEK 05 •
Cements and liners, alginate impressions (upper arch), model pouring and trimming, X-ray quiz. CPR Training.
• WEEK 06 •
Midterm exam. Oral surgery, periodontal instruments and materials, sterilization procedures, alginate impressions (lower arch).
• WEEK 07 •
Crown and bridge instruments and materials, making temporary restorations, bite registration.
• WEEK 08 •
Endodontic materials and instruments, orthodontics, job interview skills.
• WEEK 10•
Final exam and practical
exam.
• WEEK 11 •
Externship.

Dr. Salam Ramadan, DDS, MPH

Dr. Salam Ramadan, DDS, MPH, is a highly experienced dentist dedicated to delivering
comprehensive, patient-centered care with a focus on excellence, innovation, and aesthetics. As
the founder and clinical director of The Dental Spa in Oklahoma City, she combines advanced
clinical techniques with a personalized approach to help patients achieve healthy, functional, and
confident smiles.
Dr. Ramadan earned her undergraduate education at East Central University before receiving her
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. She also
earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Oklahoma College of Public Health
and completed advanced hospital-based residency training at St. Anthony Hospital.
Her clinical interests include cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, full-mouth rehabilitation,
restorative dentistry, orthodontics, and facial aesthetics. She provides a wide range of services
including dental implants, clear aligner therapy, braces, veneers, crowns, smile makeovers, and
facial aesthetic treatments.
Beyond private practice, Dr. Ramadan is passionate about education and workforce development.
She is the founder and director of the Oklahoma City Dental Assisting Academy and leads
workforce initiatives through Gallery 838 Arts Foundation.
Known for her compassionate chairside manner and meticulous attention to detail, Dr. Ramadan
believes exceptional dentistry begins with listening. At The Dental Spa, patients receive
comprehensive care in a modern, welcoming environment focused on oral health, confidence, and
aesthetics.
VERONICA JONES, RDA
Veronica Jones is a Registered Dental Assistant with more than 14 years of experience in general, cosmetic,
restorative, implant, and surgical dentistry. Throughout her career, she has developed a reputation for
delivering compassionate patient care while supporting dentists in providing exceptional clinical outcomes.
A graduate of ATI Career Training Center's Dental Assisting Program, Veronica is licensed by the Oklahoma
Board of Dentistry and maintains certifications in Radiation Protection and Safety, Coronal Polishing, Pit and
Fissure Sealant Placement, Nitrous Oxide Monitoring, Digital Radiography, CPR, AED, and Basic Life
Support (BLS).
Her clinical expertise includes chairside assisting for implant procedures, cosmetic dentistry, veneers, crown
and bridge treatment, endodontics, oral surgery, removable prosthetics, denture fabrication and repair, digital
radiography, infection control, and dental laboratory procedures. She also has extensive experience assisting
with laser treatments and aesthetic services in a modern dental practice.
Known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to create a welcoming environment, Veronica is
committed to ensuring every patient receives outstanding care and a positive treatment experience. Her
dedication to teamwork, clinical excellence, and continuing professional development has made her a valued
member of every practice she has served.
